The project was to provide the Leova Jail with running water in the kitchen, repair the shower, and provide proper toilet facilities.
Suzette reports:
After we completed the plumbing and piping to get running water in the kitchen and to repair the toilets and shower area, the Commissioner was able to get money from the Government for a complete repair of the Jail.
The Jail is now very modern and up to human rights standards. The administration is now actively seeking more funds to full equip the Medical area.
The start of the Water Project really motivated them to want to make more improvements.
Thank you again for making this project possible.
We extend our thanks to Suzette for completing this project. It is an example of how a small project can provide the stimulus and motivation for self-help, with a large impact extending into the future.
