The project was to install a reverse osmosis water purification system at the hospital.
Rebecca reports:
This past week we have completed all components of our project. The implementation went as planned and without any problems.
The hospital has already started to utilize the new filtration system and has commented that they are enjoying it very much. I have created a written contract with them vowing to replace the filters as needed and to sanitize the system on a weekly basis, as we know that tuberculosis itself can live on many different surfaces.
My overall impressions are that this is a very worthwhile project. Some of my local connections at different hospitals are envious and wanting this kind of system within their own facility. I told them that we decided to provide Tuberculosis Hospital #2 with this project because they have the most vulnerable and at risk youth living there.
We are grateful to Rebecca for completing this project.
