This project has been completed under the technical direction of Peace Corps Volunteer Jerome Drescher. To read about the beginning of this project, CLICK HERE.
The project was to install an automatic chlorination device to purify the water used at the Warsop Health Center. Rainwater there is captured, pumped to a storage tank on the roof, and supplied to the center under pressure.
Chlorine tablets are readily available, and are effective in purifying the water. Test kits are used to calibrate the machine and measure the quality of the water used at the center.
Jerome reports that the system is working well in providing clean water to the clinic.
On behalf of the community, the clinic staff, and Jerome, we extend our gratitude to The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust as a part of their Clean Water Projects for providing the funding for this successful project.
