Conclusion of Thmar Puok Primary School Water Project – Cambodia

This project has been completed under the direction of Peace Corps Volunteer Lisa Barker. To read about the beginning of the project, CLICK HERE.

The project was to provide the Thmar Puok Primary School with water from the nearby pond for washing hands, flushing toilets, and watering the school vegetable garden.

Lisa reports:

The project has been completed.

You will see pictures of the pump, extension cords, the flexible tubing, the water jars, some hard piping laid under the road to attach the water supply to the tanks, and where the piping comes out at the end of the pond. (The pond is empty this time of year, so it looks like a mud pit).

Thank you so much for your support in this project. The school director would like me to extend his greatest thanks to you for all of your help.

We again wish to thank The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust for providing the funding for this project.
