This project has been completed within budget and on schedule by Peace Corps Volunteer Kent Elliott, to whom we are extremely grateful.

Kent reports:

I am pleased to announce that our bathroom renovation project has been completed. With the new water pump and repaired plumbing, all four lavatories and two hand washing stations draw clean water from the local reservoir.

The added bonus provided by this project is that, in addition to serving the community, it serves tourists who pass through the area. By providing public facilities for backpackers and bicycle tourists, an impetus is given to the economic vitality of the community.

We again wish to extend our gratitude to The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust for providing the funding for this project.
