Conclusion of Djelibakoro Well Project – Guinea

The project to build a well in Djelibakoro has been completed under the direction of Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Shreyan Sen.

A deep borehole was drilled and a pump was installed. Piping was placed in the well, and it was sealed. A concrete slab, drainage channel, and soak pit were installed to keep the area free of standing water.

Shreyan reports:

The contractor conducted a site assessment and then completed drilling within a matter of 10 days.

The village is very happy with the end result, as can be seen from the attached Letter of Appreciation.

We are grateful to Shreyan for completing this important project.
