The project was to renovate two bathrooms at Vinnytsia Khutora School.

Anna reports:

We are finally finished with Vinnytsia Khutory School’s toilet project. It looks absolutely amazing.

This construction project has been a long journey! We purchased all our supplies in mid-February, and began work soon after. After a lengthy demolition, we ran into unexpected trouble with the plumbing under the floor. We had to dig the floor up and install new pipes.

A new cement floor and landing outside the bathroom were poured. The labor was done primarily by our male teachers in their free time, and because of setbacks, was a lengthy process.

Initially the teachers contributed $110 to cover expenses, but after construction began, they decided to give more money to purchase two new doors for the bathrooms.

The finished bathrooms look phenomenal and are ready for the new school year in September. The teachers and students are extremely grateful. Thank you for your work which made this all possible!

We are grateful to Anna for completing this project, and again extend our thanks to Wilco Krul for providing the funding.
