This project has been completed under the direction of Peace Corps Volunteer Natalie Gmitro.

The project was to renovate and upgrade an indoor bathroom at the Nova Praha Educational Complex.

Natalie reports:

In Nova Praha Educational Complex we had two new toilets installed as well as two new sinks and the plumbing for both fixed. There were also two doors put in so that two students could use the bathroom at the same time.

It only took a week for installation, but it took longer to get the process started because we were initially unable to find help for the installation.

Water Charity funds were used to purchase the fixtures and materials, and the work was done by members of the community.

Previously, 350 students and teachers in the building each day were forced to use the one working toilet. The renovation created safe and sanitary conditions for all. The school is incredibly grateful for the new facilities!

We extend our thanks to Natalie for completing this important project. We are still seeking donations.
