The project was to provide reliable water to School Ten by purchasing and installing water reservoirs.
Hailey reports
I wanted to let you know about the successful completion of my water project and to thank your organization for the opportunities it provides to volunteers and their communities.
The project was a great success and the school staff and students are greatly appreciative. The water reservoirs were installed on each floor of the school and in the cafeteria.
Staff and students now have continuous access to water, which has proved very useful for the sanitation of the school. Materials were purchased by the school director and PCV, and were installed by members of the community.
Younger students received lessons on hand washing, to encourage students to utilize the newly installed hand washing stations. Molodogvardeysk School #10 sends its thanks and appreciation.
