Conclusion of Mary Nagu Secondary School Water Project – Tanzania

This project has been completed under the direction of Peace Corps Volunteer Kimberly Bauer.

The project was to repair the water pipes that supply the school.

Kimberly reports:

The piping was completed according to plan. However, a different pipe then broke and the water did not reach its destination. I completed my Peace Corps service and returned home and both of my counterparts moved out of the village.

The last information I have is that the community has not replaced the one remaining broken pipe. This report will be updated if there is any new information.

We are grateful to Kimberly for pursuing this project despite the adversity, and again extend our thanks to her friends and family who donated.
