Conclusion of Khossanto School Well Project – Senegal

This project has been completed under the technical direction of Peace Corps Volunteer David Campbell. To read about the beginning of this project, CLICK HERE.

The project called for a number of steps to renew the well on the school grounds, including clearing the contaminated water, installing a concrete cap, installing a rope pump, building a concrete pad, providing a sealed reservoir, and installing a hose attachment.

The repair of the well has led the community to embark on other projects, including a women’s garden, including a water tower and a pump system for irrigation.
